Hungry Jack Beef Casserole, by Aunt Shirley

Description

Hamburger Casserole

Ingredients

1-lb. ground beef (hamburger)
16 oz. can pork & beans
3/4 C barbecue sauce
2T brown sugar
1T onion
1 can biscuits
1C cheddar cheese
Seasonings(to taste):
pepper, chili pepper, onion salt,
1T worcestershire sauce.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375

Brown ground beef & drain

Stir in next 4 ingredients and seasoning; Heat until bubbly then pour into 2 quart casserole dish.

Top with cheese & biscuits

Bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes, until biscuits are golden brown

Serves 4-6.

looks pretty easy, I think we might try to do it this week or next.

We tried this tonight. It was pretty good. It tasted like a chili bowl or something like that, not what I expected but it was still good. We did a little more than 1 tbsp. of onion though, that seems like it is either off or just not enough. Thanks for adding it. The biscuits on the top make it pretty easy to determine portion sizes to.
