Tare for Ramen

Description

When using a chicken stock broth, adding the tare will add a more traditional ramen taste to your soup.

Makes about 6 oz

Ingredients

140 g (4 oz) soy sauce
14 g mirin (sweet cooking wine)
6 g salt
5 g fish sauce

Directions

Combine, heat to a boil and then let cool and store refrigerated.

Add a couple tablespoons to a bowl with green onions (optional) before pouring in your broth and adding noodles.
