Mom's Quick Yeast Rolls

Description

I make the dough, put into refrigerator covered with plastic wrap. When I get home from Church 3 1/2 hrs. Later it is double in size. I take out using flour on counter top,pour out sprinkle with flour and kneed adding flour just until not sticky. Roll into balls,put in pan, let rise about 5 to 10 min. Then bake. If you want bigger rolls only make 9 rolls.

Ingredients

2T butter
3 T sugar
1C hot water
1(.25 oz)pk dry yeast
1 egg (beaten)
1t salt
2 1/4 C all purpose white flour

Directions

Prep. 1hr. 30 min. Bake 10 min. In large bowl, mix butter, sugar, hot water. Allow to cool to lukewarm and mix in the yeast until dissolved. Mix in the egg,salt,and flour. It will be sticky. Cover and allow to rise until double in size. Greese 12 muffin tin. Pour dough onto floured counter top. Sprinkle with flour,kneed adding flour just until not to sticky. Devide dough, roll into balls and put in tin. Allow to rise until double in size or at least 5 to 10 min. Bake at 425 for 10 min.
