Baked Ham with Carmel glaze

Description

Ham tastes sweet but not over the top sweet.

Ingredients

1 large ready to cook smoked Ham (12_16#)

Glaze:
1C brown sugar
2T corn syrup (light)
2 T flour
1T regular or Dijon mustard(spicier)
1T cider vinegar
2T water

Directions

Heat oven to 325* or cook ham in crock-pot. In oven pan wrap ham in foil keeping ham fat side up. Bake about 4 hrs.(18 to 20 min per lb.) Glaze: In med sauce pan add all ingredients for glaze except water. Mix until smooth then add the water and simmer on med heat until sugar is dissolved and tastes creamy (1 to 2 min.) When ham is done remove foil from ham and pour off excess juice. Score the ham creating a diamond pattern. Spoon glaze over ham and return to cook on low heat in crock-pot or 170*in oven basting with glaze mix frequently. Cook until heated about 20 min.
