Bread Machine Breadsticks

This is a great recipe for breadsticks that, as you probably guessed, you make in a bread machine... All the mixing and waiting part, you still have to roll them out and cut them.

Ingredients

7 oz. Hot water
3 cups flour
2 Tbs powderd milk
3 1/2 Tbs sugar
4 Tbs butter
1 tsp salt
2 Tbs yeast (we use 2 tsp for pizza dough)

Directions

Mix the yeast in with the warm water and set aside. Put the rest of the ingredients into the bread machine and add the water/yeast mixture to the bread machine and let it mix. If you have a dough setting or pizza dough setting it works fine.

Once it has finished its cycle, roll the dough out onto a buttered surface. With a pizza cutter you can cut into long thin slices, place onto a cookie sheet/pan, cover and let it rise for about 20 minutes.

Melt a little butter and brush the tops of the bread and then sprinkle with garlic and salt, or if you have a garlic salt mixture. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.
