Description
pumpkin pie layer on bottom w/ crunchy top.
Ingredients
15 oz. canned pumpkin
12 oz. evaporated milk (not sweetened condensed milk)
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp salt
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup butter, melted
1 cup chopped pecans, optional
Directions
1-Lightly spray or grease 9x13 pan. 2-In large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, evap. milk, eggs, sugar, salt, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth. 3-pour evenly on bottom of 9x13 4-sprinkle dry cake mix over pumpkin layer, then pecans, then pour melted butter over top. 5- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 50-55 min. until top is golden brown. Cool completely before serving.
