Description
Nobody knows the difference! Healthy brownies are a little bit of guilt-free heaven.
Ingredients
1 can black beans (or about 1 3/4 cups of cooked black beans)
3 T coconut oil, melted
3/4 c cocoa powder
2.5 T flax seed
7 T water
1/4 t sea salt
1 t vanilla
1 1/2 t baking powder
1/2 cup turbinado sugar (or agave, maple syrup, honey...)
Optional topping - chocolate or carob chips, chopped walnuts, shredded coconut
Optional ingredients - add a banana, or add an egg, or some oatmeal...
Directions
Mix the flax + water in food processor until smooth & frothy. This is the "flax egg". Let rest for a couple minutes. Mix everything together until smooth in a food processor. Pour into greased muffin tins and bake 350 for about 20-25 min. Serve warm with a bit of vanilla frozen yogurt.
