Pie Crust
Ingredients
1 1/4 C Flour
1/4 t Salt
1/3 C Butter
Cold water
Directions
In medium bowl stir together flour and salt. Using two knives cut in soft butter until pieces are pea-size. Sprinkle 1 T cold water over part of the flour mixture, gently toss with a fork to mix. Push moistened pastry to side of bowl. Repeat moistening flour using 1 T of water at a time, until all of the flour mixture is moistened. Form dough into a ball.
On a piece of wax paper put a little flour,use your hands to slightly flatten pastry. Roll pastry from center to edges into a circle about 12 inches in diameter, lightly dusting with flour as needed. Put in 9 in. pie pan & pinch edges. Cover with tin foil and bake at 450 for 8 min. take off foil and bake for 6min. until lightly brown. Cool on rack.
