Cracker Jacks Popcorn

Ingredients

1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup Karo white syrup

1tsp vanilla
Pinch of baking sofa

16 cups of popcorn, spread on 2 cookie sheets, remove all kernels. 2 1/2 bags of microwave bags of natural Kruger brand works great.

Peanuts optional


Directions

Soft boil brown sugar, butter, karo for 5 minutes.....remove from heat, stir in vanilla and baking soda......pour and coat popcorn quickly...bake for one hour at 250 degrees.....stir every 20 minutes, rotating pans from top to bottom shelves.

It helps to have 2 people to coat the popcorn. Note 250 degrees not 350

Store in airtight container or freezer bags.
