Americas test kitchen marinade for steak tips. The oil is necessary to help bring out the flavors of the garlic.
Ingredients
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup vegetable oil
5 cloves minced garlic.
3 Tbsp dark brown sugar
1 Tbsp tomato paste
1 Tbsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne
Directions
Mix all ingredients and put into a ziplock bag. You can prick the meat with a fork to allow the marinade to get into the meat better. Place the meat into the bag, removing the air and mixing, then refrigerate for 2 hours minimum or up to 24 hours.
