Ingredients
4 1/2 Cups mashed strawberries
2 Cups sugar
1/4 C real lemon juice
Directions
Mix mashed strawberries,sugar and lemon juice in a sauce pan over med heat until sugar melts.
Bring to a rolling boil and boil for about 10 min., stir now and then so it doesn't boil over or stick to bottom.
(To see if it is ready, put a plate in the freezer to get cold. When you have cooked it for about 10 min. put a tablespoon of jelly on cold plate and put back in freezer for a minute.(don't freeze it) Take out and run you finger through it. If it doesn't run back together it's ready to put in hot clean jars. If not cook a little longer and try again. When ready put in clean hot jars, put on lid. I processed my jelly for 10 to 15 min. in boiling water covering the lids. As the jars cool lids seal.
