Homemade Ice Cream

Description

I use eggs fresh from the farmer's market. They seem to make it creamier. I have to cut this recipe in half for my 1 1/2 quart ice cream maker.

Ingredients

6 eggs
3 cups sugar
2 pints half & half
1 Tbs. vanilla
whole milk - fill to 1/2 inch from top

Directions

Beat eggs & sugar with electric mixer until thick. Add vanilla and half & half. Pour into freezer and add milk.
