French Toast Casserole (Carol's)

Great for family or friend parties!!

Ingredients

1 Loaf French Bread (sliced 1/2in thick)

Mixture:
8 Large eggs
2 Cup Half and Half
1 Cup Milk
2 Tbs Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
pinch Salt

Topping:
1 cup Butter (room temp)
1 Cup packed Brown sugar
1 Cup chopped Pecans
2 Tbs Corn syrup
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg

Directions

Layer two rows deep of French bread in a heavily greased(buttered) 9x13 pan. Pour mixture over the bread and let soak in fridge over night. The next morning mix together topping ingredients and spread on the top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min.
