Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

Sift Together:
5 cups flour (sifted)
1 tsp. salt

Beat together and add to flour/sugar mixture:
2 eggs
3 sticks butter
2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
4 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Roll dough out flat. (If you want softer cookies... roll dough out a bit thicker.) Use cookie cutters to cut dough into desired shapes. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Let cool completely. Frost.
